Vank!	August 2007 We treated ourselves to a nice, "easy" hike and bought the 12 euro lift tickets up to the top of the mountain officially called "Wank"! The walk was all downhill and took in a spectacular panorama. Indeed Vank is a classic flower pot hill with a 1000m ascent and the climbs are best avoided. Probably a very popular Ausflugsort!
Euro2008 Qualifiers	September 2007 Its make or break time as England take on Israel and Russia at the new Wembley looking to climb up the table and put the ghost of recent dodgy performances to rest. Also, finally managed to cash in the hot air balloon ride.

Paula's 40th	September 2007 Paula and Mark visit us to celebrate Paula passing the peak of youth! A great time was had despite this.

Oktoberfest	October 2007 Jen miraculously organised a reservation for the public holiday on the 3rd and we piled into the Schottenhammel for a few beers. Bev was Belle of the Ball in new Tracht.
Barolo 2007	November 2007 Initially inspired by the need to fill the new wine fridge, this trip developed momentum when it was coupled with the annual Alba truffle fest. The gang along with Martin and Suzy zoom off to the Langhe hills for some expensive refreshments...
VTS Portugal	6-10. November 2007 Site Acceptance Test of Monte Funchal radar tower. Stayed at Ericeira, partly to reminice over Euro 2004 and partly to get some quality time! Managed finally get to the Lines of Torres Vedras.
Claire & Graham Wedding	17-22. November 2007 Held at York House in Twickenham. We stayed on the south coast for a few days and then returned for the fateful Eng-Croatia at Wembley. Steph took the spare ticket but was rewarded with misery and shoe gazing allround.
VTS Portugal - SAT Foia	25-30. November 2007 Off to Portugal again, this time finally got to the Algarve.
